As part of the brand new facility for a workshop with maintenance bays and supporting infrastructure the new facility created a solution to ensure that the growing fleet of heavy logistic lorries could be maintained and serviced to create the best fleet and solution for clients.
This saw the creation of rolling road brake tester, mobile truck lifts, full HGV (Heavy goods vehicle) inspection and maintenance pits, high reach walkways, fuel stations including carbon neutral gas, auto wash facilities, steam cleaning carriage ramps with dedicated internal storage for spare parts and supporting offices and canteen facility to create a leading solution for this new maintenance workshop.
The building specification included robust protection of the building to prevent damage to the building structure using specially designed barriers, wheel stops and curb edges to ensure that vehicles did not unnecessarily damage the facility.
