Philosophy
The philosophy of this Treehouse den in Petersfield was to utilise the sustainable sourced materials and wood craft techniques to create a selling point to further the sales of his products on the open market. A daring proposition to create a treehouse led to the design and exploration of the limits of traditional wood craft techniques. The timber is used in both elegant structural solutions to create a cantilever to beautiful timber handrails and cedar shingles to create a waterproof shell.

Solution
Using two trees and the steep sloping typography to create this beautiful treehouse. The platform extends from the landscape and continues to create a cantilevered platform beyond the trees. This clever solution allows the platform to float above the ground and creates a striking yet elegant solution as a treehouse.
