Fingerprintstudios Architects and Interior Designers were approached to design and secure planning permission for a major house extension that would continue the beauty found in this historic timber framed Country Home.
The property has all the benefits found with a Country Home including a separate drive, stables for houses and a paddock, tennis courts and a beautiful natural landscaped garden. However the home was in need of a heated detached garage for luxury sports cars and a contemporary swimming pool building connected to the garden for health and recreation. This is all added as part of the addition of a new two storey rear extension to increase the living space for the home.

The architectural and interior design solution creates a blend of contemporary and traditional design mixed to create a beautiful solution to this Country Home and adds the final features to create this as an all in composing Country Home.

An in keeping rear two storey extension with a new contemporary single storey swimming pool extension creates a beautiful addition to the home. The simple gesture of a glass link between the home and the swimming pool with large glass pitched roof and bi-fold doors connects the garden to the swimming pool. This allows the mature tree canopy to sit above the glass roof and can be enjoyed during the morning swim.

This existing Country Home in Denmead, Hampshire has been designed with an in keeping two storey rear extension which will increase living space via a new kitchen, dining area large open plan living room and music room all connected to a new contemporary internal swimming pool with pool room, changing area and shower room and a new detached heated garage for luxury sports cars.

Inkeeping materials including render, handmade clay roof tiles and timber windows and doors have been used to maintain an in keeping and seamless extension to this historic Country Home in Denmead, Hampshire.
